Dr. Jon is a local Brisbane boy, graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours).
Since completing his dental degree, Jonathan has received international certification in Dental Implantology from the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology, England and has also completed a 1 year Implant Externship program with New York University. Being passionate for further studies, Dr Jon consistently completes more than 200 hours of education a year on dental implantology to stay updated. He has received extensive training internationally from renown specialists in the field of implantology involving hard and soft tissue grafting and reconstructions.
When away from teaching and the clinic, Dr Jon loves spending time with his wife, playing tennis and driving on a Formula 1 simulator. Being a huge tennis and Roger Federer fan you might catch him at the local tennis club trying to imitate Federer’s slick moves. He also enjoys snowboarding on Japan’s powder slopes, watching action and sci-fi movies, being punny, and eating with his mates.
